A great night out was enjoyed by all last Friday at the inaugural Garry Gibson Memorial Show organised by Kingston Boxing Club and sponsored by S R Black Plumbing & Heating Ltd.
The event raised over £7700 for the Garry Gibson Foundation and these funds will be used to provide opportunities for young people interested in taking up the sport of boxing, helping with coaching and the provision of equipment.
It was great to hear from Alex Settle on her return from Kenya this summer where she has been volunteering at the Talia’s Women & Children’s Centre.
The Centre is a refuge for victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking and the £250 sponsorship from S R Black Plumbing & Heating Ltd was used to buy, amongst other things, much needed medical supplies, foodstuffs and stationery for the Centre’s classroom.
SR Black have improved training and meeting room facilities which are fully interactive. These new improvements allow us to further enhance our Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance Policies
