Last Saturday saw Stuart & the team from Kingston Boxing Club successfully complete the Yorkshire Warrior at Ripley Castle.
This event is a 10km extreme obstacle course with plenty of mud and water along the way and a great time was had by all.
The next Yorkshire Warrior is scheduled for April 2017 which gives our engineers plenty of time for training but will they beat his time?
Congratulations to Stuart Black for completing the Coast to Coast cycling challenge this weekend. He was helped along the route by our recently retired engineer, Martin Cook who drove the minibus and kept everyone’s spirits up. The group covered 137 miles in 3 days, with plenty of pub stops for re-hydration purposes.
Another member of our team, Tony Lapping, our Estimator, is due to take part in a similar challenge in a couple of weeks but is taking it to the next level and is hoping to complete 188 miles in 2 days, watch this space!
Well done Mike Crawshaw in successfully completing the scheme requirements for NICEIC accreditation.
It’s that time of year when some of us are thinking about heading off for a camping/caravanning weekend and maybe dusting down the barbie for a bit of al fresco dining. Well here’s a really interesting article from Gas Safe that’s worth a read before you go:
